It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the death of Dominic Stones – he passed away over the weekend.
Dom was a massive Blues fan & despite travelling all over the world always had his Frickley scarf with him. In recent years he has been living in the North East & always came to watch his favourite team when we were playing anywhere near his neck of the woods.
I got to know him quite well – through our shared love of The Azzurri & also because his dad was my headteacher at one time – & he was, quite simply, a very nice bloke.
