We have been informed of the sad passing of Blues legend, Des Bunn.
Des (pictured first left on the front row at our Centenary Reunions in 2010) was a stalwart of our Midland League & Cheshire League teams of the 50s & 60s & a massive fan of the club when he hung his boots up.
I had the pleasure of working with him briefly at the pit when I was doing my apprenticeship – he was a thoroughly lovely bloke & he will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements will be announced when we know them.
