What’s better than having 1 EFL side visit the Wezzie during preseason? Well how about two in the same week!!
That’s right, Barnsley have been added to our preseason friendly line up ahead of the new campaign.
The League One side will be bringing an XI to Westfield Lane on Tuesday 8th July, 7:30 KO. Should be another great occasion with hopefully a fair few through the gate so if you’re a Tykes supporter who wants to see your side, get yourself down to Westfield Lane!!

Friday 4th July – South Elmsall Services (H) – 7:30pm KO
Tuesday 8th July – Barnsley XI (H) – 7:30pm KO

Saturday 12th July – Grimsby Borough (a) – 1:00pm KO
Tuesday 15th July – Emley (H) – 7:30 KO
Saturday 19th July – Dearne and District (a) – 1:00pm KO
Saturday 26th July – NCEL Premier League Kick Off
Another cracking opportunity to see Tom’s new side in action ahead of the new season. The new side is taking shape with plenty of familiar and new faces for you all to be excited about.
As stated previously, announcements around players will be made from 1st July onwards once the registration period opens for the new season
