Now that the dust has settled after Sundays farce regarding the announcement – we can confirm that we have been relegated from the Northern Premier League East division
We have been waiting for confirmation by the NPL before we ‘went public’ – we still haven’t been informed officially by the league – we found out in the same way as everyone else, via a post on the NPL website & social media.
Obviously this is not something that we wanted to happen – but it is something that we now have to deal with. It is time for the club to take stock as we wait to find out which league we will be allocated to. The work of the volunteers has been undiminished and the supporters that have stuck with us deserved better
This seems like an opportune time to remind everyone that we are searching for a new Chair – the role will still demand the same core skills irrespective of which league we play in. We would like to hear from individuals interested in taking on the role or groups wishing to join the Board of Directors to take us forward
