2026/27 CENTRAL MIDLANDS DIVISION ONE NORTH FIXTURES
The schedule for our Reserves debut Central Midlands Division One North Campaign have been confirmed.
Frickley Athletic Reserves can look forward to a busy 2026/27 campaign, with their league fixtures taking them from the beginning of September through to April as the side prepares for another season representing the Blues.
The new season gets underway on Saturday 5 September, when Frickley make the trip to Long Bennington FC for their opening fixture. The first home game follows a week later as Kirton Brickworks FC visit on 12 September, before Frickley remain at home to welcome AFC Manton Club on 19 September. The opening month is then rounded off on 26 September with an away fixture against Kinsley Boys FC Development.
October is the busiest month of the campaign, with five fixtures scheduled. Frickley begin the month with two games on home soil, welcoming Appleby Frodingham Saints FC on 3 October before Dunscroft United visit a week later on 10 October. Three consecutive away fixtures then follow, starting at Brodsworth Main FC Reserves on 17 October. Frickley travel to Armthorpe Welfare FC Reserves on 24 October before ending the month on the road against Team 780 JLC FC on 31 October.
November begins with a return home as Harworth Colliery FC Reserves make the trip to Frickley on 7 November. The Reserves then head back out on the road for their remaining two fixtures of the month, travelling to Kirton Brickworks FC on 14 November before visiting AFC Bentley Reserves on 21 November.
December brings a much lighter schedule, with just two games currently listed. Both are away from home, beginning with a trip to Rossington FC Development on 5 December. The final fixture before Christmas sees Frickley travel to Dunscroft United on 19 December, bringing the competitive action for 2026 to a close.
There will be little time to ease back into action after the festive period, with four January fixtures awaiting the Reserves. Frickley begin 2027 with consecutive away games, travelling to Harworth Colliery FC Reserves on 9 January before making the trip to Appleby Frodingham Saints FC on 16 January. The month then concludes with two home fixtures, as Long Bennington FC visit on 23 January followed by Team 780 JLC FC on 30 January.
February is another relatively quiet month in terms of scheduled fixtures, with Frickley playing twice. The first comes on 6 February when the Reserves travel to AFC Manton Club, before returning home on 20 February to face AFC Bentley Reserves.
As the campaign moves towards its conclusion, March provides Frickley with a run of three successive home fixtures. Kinsley Boys FC Development are the visitors on 6 March before Rossington FC Development make the trip to Frickley on 20 March. The final game of the month takes place on 27 March, when Brodsworth Main FC Reserves are the visitors.
The currently scheduled league campaign then reaches its conclusion on Saturday 3 April, with Frickley enjoying home advantage for their final fixture against Armthorpe Welfare FC Reserves.
The new campaign also represents another important season for the Reserves within the wider Frickley Athletic setup. As well as competing for results on the pitch, the team provides an opportunity for players to continue their development in senior football and forms an important part of the pathway towards the club’s first team.
With preparations continuing ahead of the opening weekend, attention will soon turn towards that first trip to Long Bennington and the beginning of what promises to be a tasty debut season for the Frickley Athletic Reserves.
