This season saw the addition of the U8’s into the Frickley Academy. They are our youngest team within Frickley and are our stars of the future. Our boys train on a Friday evening and play on Sunday mornings taking part in the Charles Rice league. The boys are improving week after week and have shown some excellent improvement over the last few months.
The boys have recently been mascots for our first team, it was great to see the smiles on their faces and meeting the players face to face. At our first Christmas party the boys were able to meet Father Christmas and they were suprised to find out he was a Frickley Athletic fan.
Our U8s team is all about having fun and taking part in a team sport. We like all the players to enjoy themselves and to be able to make friends with other children who love the game of football. If you would like your child to join us we will welcome them into the team.
